Florida-based artist Jessica Brackett presents a body of work centered on local plants and pollinators—bees, butterflies, native flowers—rendered in oil with reverence and restraint.

At the heart of the exhibition is a monumental diptych of a Swallowtail butterfly whose wings fade from vibrant to muted tones.

The work responds to the growing loss of habitat and biodiversity, serving as both meditation and warning: what disappears first is often what is most luminous.
