Meredith Sand Designs Studio & Gallery is more than a place to view art, it’s a place to experience it. Part gallery, part working studio, part event space, we exist to make creativity visible, approachable, and alive in everyday life.
Here, art isn’t reserved for special occasions or white walls. It lives in conversation, in process, in the way people move through the space and connect with what they see.
Our gallery rotates resident artists throughout the year, each bringing a distinct perspective and energy into the space. Between exhibitions, you’ll still find a curated selection of original artwork, prints, and thoughtfully designed goods, including Meredith’s signature hand-stamped textiles and gifts.
On View Now: “Conditions of Closeness: Tied by Tides”
“Conditions of Closeness: Tied by Tides” by current resident Megan Hernandez, is on view now until September 5th, 2026 in the Gallery.
This showcase contains a collection of works exploring a variety of paired creatures in the natural world, and how proximity gives meaning to these relationships.

Next In The Gallery: “Thresholds” by Mimi Hwang
We are excited to welcome Mimi Hwang as our next artist in residence. A contemporary painter, Mimi’s asian heritage and western birth inspire her paintings as poetic landscapes where abstract modern expressionism is combined with elements of traditional Asian art.
The paintings in Thresholds exist within this space between memory and experience. Rather than describing the landscape, Mimi Hwang paints its emotional resonance; those fleeting impressions that evade language but remain deeply familiar.
Join us at the gallery on Saturday, September 12th from 6 PM - 9 PM to experience Hwang’s evocative work and celebrate the beginning of her residency
