Meet Robin Johnson: Bold Color, Coastal Vibes, and Creative Energy
The sea holds stories in every ripple, and this month, resident artist Robin Johnson brings those stories to life at Meredith Sand Designs Studio & Gallery in the Milk District. Inspired by her visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Robin’s newest collection flows with color, texture, and movement—each piece a reflection of the wonder found beneath the waves.
Her creative process is as fluid as the ocean itself—layering paint, marks, and collage with both traditional brushes and unexpected tools. Robin’s work is an invitation to journey inward, to explore emotion, memory, and imagination, while discovering new meaning with every glance.
