In Bloom - Where Nature Meets Imagination

In Bloom celebrates the vibrant ecosystems of Central Florida through the work of artist Kathleen Safi, where native wildlife, botanicals, and shifting landscapes exist in quiet relationship with one another. Through layers of acrylic paint and hand-dyed paper, Safi builds and peels back surfaces to reveal imagery that reflects both the complexity of nature and the rhythms of human experience.

Birds, local flora, and abstracted landscapes emerge from textured fields of color, inviting viewers to look closer and discover the interconnected stories within each piece. Safi is especially drawn to the resilience and beauty of native species and the ways they adapt, flourish, and coexist within their environment.

Painting is her daily practice and her way of honoring the place she calls home. By blending observation with imagination, Kathleen Safi creates work that brings light, joy, and a deeper sense of connection to nature, to community, and to one another.
